Abacus Restaurant first opened its doors in 2004. Since that time, we’ve grown to become one of Siem Reap’s landmark eating and drinking spots. At Abacus Restaurant we serve on the best local and imported products which we have paired with an extensive wine list from the old continent and the New World.

After outgrowing our original premises in Siem Reap’s Old French Quarter in 2009, we move to our current location which featured a large garden. Our new restaurant was designed by the award-winning French-Khmer architect duo, Lisa Ros and Ivan Tizianel. It features an air-conditioned dining room, a stunning terrace set in our tropical garden and a private dining room for groups of up to fourteen guests.

Our Chef is an experienced Khmer Chef. He and his team will be happy to welcome you 7 days a week to help you to rediscover the traditional western food revise with a Khmer twist in a contemporary way.

Abacus is opened all year round from 10:30am – 02:00pm for lunch and 6:00pm – 11:00pm for dinner. We highly recommend that you book your table before you come to avoid disappointment.

I loved this little jewel! Lovely place, great food and excellent service. We were a little rushed for time and had an early lunch here. I loved the decor and ambience of the Oyster Lounge as well as the Cafe Indochine. They even have separate rooms for private parties.
I was suitably impressed with these rooms as well.
I will definitely be repeating the experience when I visit again!

Had a dinner last night, all good but the striploin was a little dry and less juicy so we had to order the second one and it was all okay... wine was good and we also ordered another bottle. Service was exceptional!

This is some of the best food in Siem Reap. We have not been disappointed by anything on the menu. Try the house smoked salmon starter if you want to treat yourself!

My husband and I booked this restaurant for our 5 year anniversary and had a wonderful evening! The staff were incredibly attentive and helped create a beautiful atmosphere. Rest assured the food is delicious, including the complementary bread to start. We were also delighted to receive a stunning anniversary dessert, accompanied by a lovely little speech from the staff to celebrate our marriage.

We had dinner last night and I cannot say enough good things about Abacus. The food was excellent, the service extraordinary, and the price value great. Do not be fooled by the menu pictures. The food was abundant so no need to over order. Would highly recommend.
